On November 22, 2024, the chairman of the KDM, S. Smirnov, together with a representative of the student government asset of the Bolashaq Academy, a student of the DOV–24-1c group, A. Pozdnyakova, visited the IT HUB of Terricon Valley.
The purpose of the tour was the interaction between the student government of the Academy in the form of an excursion to the IT HUB of the Terricon Valley.
The tour was conducted by Mark Dmitrienko, a community manager, who told about the Terricon Valley IT HUB that it currently positions itself as an ecosystem contributing to the development of the IT and digital spheres, bringing together government agencies, specialists, experts and students.
IT-HUB is not only a place where you can find like–minded, close–minded people, but also a place where you can usefully spend time in a cozy and homely atmosphere, where the future comes into contact with reality, and the wildest dreams take visible shape and come to life, imperceptibly turning into reality.
But still, the main tasks of the IT HUB are to hold events of various kinds on a regular basis in the hub. Some of which are carried out with the support of the Department of Informatization, public services and archives of the Karaganda region.

The IT hub “Terricon Valley” is a space where progressive people engaged in the IT field create joint projects, work on their ideas, interact, share experiences and cooperate. The hub is also a platform for educational events;
The Urban Studies Center is a project aimed at the development of urban systems in Karaganda, such as transport, pedestrian infrastructure, ecolopgy, healthcare, with an emphasis on their interaction with the residents of the city.
The Terricon School IT School is an educational platform offering training in such areas as programming, administration, design and Internet marketing. The school provides practical knowledge under the guidance of experienced professionals.
This tour was an excellent opportunity to get to know more about the opportunities and prospects of working in the IT field, as well as to make useful contacts and be inspired by modern approaches to technology development.
