Open curatorial hour on the topic: “The problem of drug distribution in Kazakhstan”

On December 9, 2024, advisers of the Department of Pedagogy Shutenova S.S. and Tazhinin A.M. held an open curatorial hour with students of the educational programs “Pedagogy and Psychology”, “Pedagogy and Methodology of Primary Education”, “Pedagogical Coaching and Psychology” of the Russian and Kazakh departments on the topic: “The Problem of Drug Distribution in Kazakhstan”

Also present at the curatorial hour were the senior adviser of the Department of Pedagogy, Mekadilova S.K., and teacher Nurkenova G.K.

The goal of the mentoring hour: to demonstrate to students the dangerous consequences of drug distribution both for others and for oneself, to promote the formation of intolerance to drugs

During the curatorial hour, the students were shown the documentary film “Bookmark”, which shows the stories of people in prison who were engaged in drug stashes, this film shows the negative consequences of drug distribution, and the stories of the people shown in the film are instructive for others. After watching the documentary, the students discussed the stories of the people shown in the film, what they came to as a result of drug stashes, the students expressed their opinions about what they saw in the film.

Synthetic drugs pose one of the most serious threats to Kazakhstan. In addition to the devastating health consequences of their use, drugs lead to a sharp increase in crime. In recent years, the number of drug addicts and drug-related crimes has increased significantly. The increase in the number of underage drug couriers is especially alarming.
