On November 25, 2024, representatives of the Department of Pedagogy Abdrakhmanova A.S., Shutenova S.S., Makhmutova G.S., took part in the “Dialogue platform – Problems and joint solutions for training specialists in psychological and pedagogical specialties” organized by the KSU “Center for Psychological Support” of the Department of Education of the Karaganda region. Representatives from the leading universities of the city were also invited: Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz, Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Buketov, Central Kazakhstan Academy.
The organized “Dialogue Platform” by the Psychological Support Center is an excellent initiative aimed at creating a space for open communication and discussion of topical issues. Inviting university teachers to such a format allows not only to strengthen the relationship between the teaching staff and students, but also to provide teachers with the opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss working methods and approaches in teaching, as well as discuss psychological aspects related to the educational process.
The goals and objectives of the “Dialogue Platform” for teachers of higher educational institutions implementing the training of specialists in psychological and pedagogical educational programs included the following aspects:
– Teachers working in the field of training psychological and pedagogical personnel could share their teaching methods, new approaches to teaching, effective methods of working with various categories of students, and also discussed the challenges they face in their practice;
– discussion of what changes and improvements can be made to the training programs so that they more accurately meet the modern requirements of the labor market and the needs of students.
– discussion of how to provide comfortable conditions for students with special educational needs;
– we considered new approaches and technologies, such as the introduction of digital technologies into the educational process, the use of interactive and practice-oriented teaching methods, as well as the integration of psychological support into training;
– as well as topics related to the emotional and psychological state of teachers, preventing burnout and creating a favorable educational environment. Since this is an important aspect, especially in a tense educational and social situation;
– Discussion of the possibilities of interaction between various specialists (psychologists, teachers, social workers) to solve complex problems in the field of education and psychological and pedagogical assistance;
– We exchanged ideas for joint research that can lead to improved training of future specialists, as well as the introduction of new technologies and working methods into educational practice;
– discussion of the professional development of teachers and students, including assessment of the need for advanced training of teachers, organization of trainings, seminars and other forms of professional growth, in order to update knowledge and skills.
The listed goals and objectives will improve the interaction between teachers and specialists in different fields, improve the quality of education and training of specialists in the field of psychology and pedagogy, as well as provide more effective support for both students and teachers in their professional activities.
In general, teachers could share their experience and discuss common problems, such as: an increase in socio-psychological tension in society: “complaints” from parents, teachers, conflicts in educational organizations, distrust of the education system and psychologists in particular; outdated forms of prevention of behavioral disorders in students; insufficient level of development of professional psychological competencies in teachers, psychologists; ineffective interdepartmental interaction.
