On May 14, 2025, an official visit of the delegation of Namangan State Pedagogical Institute (Uzbekistan), which included 12 teachers and 18 students, took place at Bolashaq Academy.
The program of the visit included a number of events aimed at strengthening partnerships and expanding international cooperation between universities.
The solemn event was opened by the rector of the Academy, PhD doctor Adanov Kuanyshbek Bulanovich. During the meeting, the universities were presented and a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed. The document was signed by Dana Salamatovna Asakayeva, Vice-rector for Research and International Cooperation at the Academy, and Murodkhon Rashidkhanov, Vice-rector for Research and Innovation at NGPI Kadyrkhanov.
As part of the cultural awareness program, the guests visited the leading sports facilities in Karaganda, including the S.Sapiev Boxing Center, the Karaganda Arena sports Complex and the Tennis Center. The delegation got acquainted with the infrastructure, conditions for the training of athletes and the development of mass student sports.
An excursion to the Karlag Museum and Memorial Complex (Dolinka village) left a special impression. The participants visited expositions dedicated to the history of repression and learned about the results of the Academy’s research project “Karlag: Memory for the Future,” which collected little-known archival materials about the fate of Karlag prisoners.
The visit became an important stage in the development of international cooperation, academic mobility and cultural dialogue, opening up new prospects for joint educational and scientific initiatives.
