Release of the book «The Judicial power in Kazakhstan», which covers the history of the government and the judicial system of our people in ancient times, is timed to the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate and the 25th anniversary of independence of the Republic. The ancient form of government and legal systems of Saks and Sarmats, Huns, Uysuns, Kanglys who lived before our era, then the ancient Turkic states, the system of control and the court of biys in the Kazakh Khanate, later in the period of its becoming a part of tsarist Russia, are set out from a historical perspective. The book comprehensively covers a judicial system that existed in our country during the period of the Soviet Union and the formation of a legal, democratic state, since Kazakhstan declared its independence 25 years ago, as well as a judicial system worthy of such development corresponding to world standards.
