With the onset of the warm season, the topic of safe behavior on the water becomes especially relevant, because summer is not only a time of rest and travel, but also a time of increased risk of injuries and accidents related to reservoirs. In this regard, the curator of the IN group-24-1-2 , senior teacher Mombekova M.M., conducted explanatory work with students and instruction on compliance with the rules of behavior on the water.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the formation of students’ conscious and responsible attitude to personal safety and the lives of others. The students received detailed information on how to behave properly while swimming and relaxing in reservoirs in order to avoid tragic consequences. The basic rules were discussed in detail:
– do not swim in unauthorized and unequipped places,
– do not enter the water under the influence of alcohol or drugs,
– do not swim alone or if you feel unwell,
– be careful when using watercraft,
– control the depth and character of the bottom, avoid sudden jumps into the water.

The students were also reminded of the importance of observing others, especially children, and knowing basic first aid skills in water accidents. The actions in case of drowning, overheating, convulsions in water and other possible situations were analyzed.
The briefing took place in an interactive form: participants actively asked questions, shared their stories and real-life examples, which contributed to a better perception of the material.
The main purpose of the event is to raise awareness and create a culture of safe behavior. After all, only care, responsibility and compliance with basic rules can ensure a truly safe and enjoyable vacation.
