Financial literacy for everyone

On November 25, 2024, the first meeting was held within the framework of the republican project “Improving financial literacy” among the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Classes on the project are designed for one working week.

The project was developed by the ruling political party “Amanat” together with the NGO “Uly Dala”; the meeting itself was conducted by the financial expert of “Uly Dala” – Meirmanov Askhat Aliaskarovich.

On the first day, he presented information about the project and its significance to the audience, as well as explained in detail the main goals and objectives of the program. The participants of the event were not only students of all courses, but also the teaching staff of the Academy. We learned about the upcoming topics that will be covered during the week-long course.

The program is aimed at improving the level of financial literacy among citizens, including studying topics such as personal and family budgets, investments, banking products, the basics of the tax system and protection from financial fraud.

During the course, participants will be able to ask questions, discuss practical cases and receive recommendations on improving their financial condition. The lecturer stressed that the knowledge gained during the training will help students manage their finances more effectively and make informed decisions in the field of personal economics.

The project aroused great interest among the participants, which confirms the relevance of the topic and the need to increase the level of financial literacy in society.
