On October 18, 2024, the Bolashaq Academy Library hosted a book exhibition dedicated to the Day of Spiritual Harmony, which is celebrated annually in Kazakhstan.
This day has become one of the significant dates in the history of modern Kazakhstan. October 18 is the Day of Spiritual Harmony, declared back in 1992 as the day of the moratorium on conflicts and clashes, the day of seeking reconciliation, mercy and help to one’s neighbor. And now it has received a new development within the framework of the Assembly of the Peoples of Eurasia.
The exhibition featured literature revealing the importance of this holiday, emphasizing the ideas of unity, tolerance and mutual understanding among the peoples of Kazakhstan. Students and teachers had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with books reflecting the cultural diversity and spiritual wealth of the country.
The director of the library, Alla Anatolyevna Shvedova, held a lecture in the reading room on the topic “Spiritual harmony as the basis of unity in Kazakhstan”, during which the key aspects of this important day and its historical significance were highlighted. The lecture attracted the attention of the audience, emphasizing the need to maintain interethnic harmony and respect for the cultural traditions of each nation.
