Curatorial hour on the theme “We are different, but we are equal”

On December 6, senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication Alzhanova A.Y. held a curatorial hour on the topic “We are different, but we are equal” in groups IN-23-1 and IN-23-2, which was devoted to discussing the uniqueness of each person and the importance of equality.
The main purpose of the event was to form students’ conscious attitude to the differences between people and foster respect for these differences.

The event began with an introductory conversation, during which students discussed the concept of uniqueness, as well as the role of tolerance in building a harmonious society. Then the participants took part in interactive tasks. One of the activities was the game “Find what unites us”, where students in groups searched for common interests and traits. As part of the Rainbow of Differences game, participants shared their unique qualities and discussed how this enriches teamwork.

In the final part, the curator summed up the discussion, noting that the differences between people do not separate, but complement each other. The students noted the importance of respecting the individuality of everyone.

The event helped to strengthen the atmosphere of trust in the group, and also contributed to the development of interpersonal communication and interaction skills.
