Curatorial hour: “85 years since the birth of Mukhtar Magauin”

A curatorial hour was held in the format of a discussion on the topic “M.Magauin is a Kazakh national writer and translator.” The event was organized by senior advisor M.K. Abdresheva and lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication D.A. Arapbaev. The event was attended by students of 2-3 courses, as well as groups IN-23-1, IN-23-2, IN-22-1, IN-22-2.

During the meeting, the participants discussed Mukhtar Magauin’s contribution to the development of Kazakh literature, his creative legacy, as well as the importance of his translation activities for strengthening cultural ties and mutual understanding between peoples. One of the key issues of the discussion was the influence of the writer’s works on the modern generation and their significance for Kazakh culture. The students were able to exchange views on how Magauin’s work contributes to the development of national identity and respect for cultural heritage.

The importance of the event lies in the fact that it helped to deepen the understanding of the literary contribution of the outstanding writer and his role in the formation of intercultural communication, and also contributed to fostering respect for the cultural traditions and values of Kazakhstan.
