The Rector’s Council is a collegial advisory body that ensures the prompt resolution of current issues of the university’s activities in the period between the meetings of the Academic Council.
The Rector’s Office performs the following functions: Ensures the execution of the rector’s powers, his orders, instructions and directives, including the preliminary study of issues related to the competence of the Academic Council and other bodies of the Academy and the preparation of recommendations on them. During the meetings of the rectorate such issues as those connected with improving the quality of educational, scientific and upbringing processes organization, reports on the work of separate subdivisions, improving the quality of students’ education, training, maintaining and upgrading the qualification of the teaching staff, etc. are examined.
The Rectorate is managed directly by the Academy rector.
The Rectorate consists of the Rector, Scientific Secretary, Vice-rectors, directors of centers, heads of departments, heads of all structural subdivisions of the Academy.
When necessary, lecturers and employees of the Academy may be invited to the meetings of the Rectorate.
