Exercises public control over the observance of students’ rights, over the expenditure of charitable aid coming to the university account; develops proposals for making changes and additions to the charter; develops recommendations on the priority directions of the academy development; develops proposals for improving measures for the support of orphans, low-income students, discounts; participates in the distribution of financial resources received in the organization of education in the form of charitable assistance and decides on its target expenditure; develops proposals in the formation of the academy budget; hears reports of the rector (if necessary, vice-rectors), including on the quality provision of educational services; participates in conferences, meetings, seminars on the activities of the Academy; familiarizes with the activities of the educational organization, conditions provided for students, etc.
