On April 21, 2025, the regional competition “Zhas Zanger-2025” was held among 11th grade students, lyceums, gymnasiums and college graduates from Karaganda and the Karaganda region, organized by the Department of Legal and Financial Disciplines of the Bolashaq Academy in cooperation with the Department of Education of the Karaganda region.
The competition was held in an online format (ZOOM platform).
The purpose of the Zhas Sanger 2025 competition is to promote legal knowledge and legal culture, identify and support talented and creative youth with the skills and potential abilities of legal thinking.
The objectives of the competition are:
1) active assistance in choosing a future profession – lawyer;
2) development of creative abilities of independent thinking and presentation of their thoughts;
3) development of writing skills;
4) developing public speaking experience;
5) introducing students and teachers to a comprehensive legal education;
6) improving the legal literacy of students in modern life.
The competition consisted of 2 rounds.
First round (correspondence) – selection of essays on the topic: “The role of law in modern society” was held from April 14 to April 15, 2025.
The competition committee was guided by the following criteria in the selection of works:
– independence, ability to analyze;
– style of presentation, originality;
– literacy;
– the degree of reasonableness;
– the author’s erudition.
The second round, a remote tour (based on the ZOOM platform), took place on April 21, 2025 in the form of an essay defense.
13 pre-selected participants were invited to the 2nd round.

Nurasyl Toktasynovich Arpabaev took the 1st place – grant from the rector of Bolashaq Academy for free first-year education at Bolashaq Academy.
