Seminar on the topic: “Studying the peculiarities of university teacher adaptation to educational activities in various universities of the country and neighboring countries”

On January 15, 2025, Professor Tnimova G.T. held a seminar for teachers of the Academy on the topic: “Studying the peculiarities of university teacher adaptation to educational activities at various universities in the country and neighboring countries,” at which a small part of the long-term research was presented to the audience. Namely, the adaptability of teachers of various universities in the country and neighboring countries to various environmental factors during the pre-covid period, during the covid pandemic and in the period after it. The work is part of a scientific initiative that was registered in May 2024.

The work was based on a methodological approach to health, based on the fact that the goal was not to search for a disease, but to assess the amount of health, which, from modern scientific positions, is considered as holistic, integral, consisting of physical, mental and social components.

Various physiological methods of measuring the standard parameters of a healthy body and the questionnaire method were used.

Investigation of the components of integral health:

– physical, by measuring BV using the zspress method of V.P.Voitenko;
– mental, using the three-factor model of K. Maslach and S. Jackson;
– social, according to the method of K. Zamfir, modified by A. Rean

Static and graphical methods of digital material processing.

365 teachers from various universities of the country and neighboring countries participated in the study. It was found that adaptability decreased sharply during the covid period in all age groups, especially among young teachers.

More information about the results of the study will be presented in the proceedings of international conferences, as well as in the international scientific journal “Actual Problems of our Time”.

The report aroused great interest among the audience. Many questions were asked. Some teachers expressed the wish to hold further seminars on healthy lifestyle, increasing adaptability to stress and disease prevention.
