A.U. Ilyasova, Master of Law, Senior lecturer at the Department of General Education of the Bolashaq Academy, took part in a 3-day training course on training ethnomediators and professional negotiators “Basic foundations of ethnomediation and negotiation process in the settlement of interethnic conflicts” (October 29-31, 2024) as part of the project “A set of measures aimed at the development of Institute of Mediation, including ethnomediation” in the House of Friendship of KSU “Kogamdyk kelisim” of the Department of Internal Policy of the Karaganda region.
The lecturer of this course was M.M. Adaev, lawyer, professional mediator, coach for mediation and negotiation programs at the Parasat Mediation and Law Center, founder of the Otau Family Academy. During the course, Mukhtar Mukanovich revealed the basic foundations of ethnopolitics and ethnomediation, showed the features of interethnic mediation, and considered mediation techniques and tools.
Special attention was paid to the mediation procedure in conflict resolution. The training course was full of practical cases that can serve as universal tools for effective communication in the social sphere.
