On September 8, 2020, an online seminar dedicated to the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan and the birthday of Akhmet Baitursynov was held in the Academy “Bolashaq”, Karaganda.
The online seminar on Skype platform was organized by the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature of “Bolashaq” Academy.
The moderator of the platform and the host of the conference was the head of the Kazakh language and literature department, Professor Sembiyev Kurmangazy Zakirovich.
Rector of the “Bolashaq” Academy, Professor Menlibayev Kuralbai Nesipbekovich opened the conference with a welcoming speech and congratulated the guests and participants of the conference with significant holidays for our people.

Rector of the Academy “Bolashaq” of the Academy, Professor Menlibayev Kuralbay Nesipbekovich opened the conference and congratulated the guests and participants of the conference on the birthday of Ahmet Baitursynov and the Day of Languages. President of the country K.K. Tokayev: “Kazakh language is the soul of the Kazakh people. Both the history and the destiny of our people are in the language. Culture and literature, mentality and religion are in the language, ”Minister of Education and Science Askhat Aimaganbetov said. He noted that the status of the Kazakh language is currently being raised at the state level, as well as the holding of a republican scientific-practical seminar “Ahmet Baitursynov’s ideals and values of independence” at the Bolashak Academy. He wished success to the work of linguists from all over the country, who are online.
Ahmet Baitursynov is a founder of Kazakh linguistics and literary studies, a Kazakh poet, turkologist, publicist, teacher, translator, public figure. Participants of the conference spoke about the place and works of the scientist in Kazakh history. The conference was attended by the Executive Director of the National Research and Practice Center “Til-Kazyna” named after Sh. Shayakhmetov Tleshov Yerbol Erdembekovich (Nur-Sultan). It began with the speeches of the Dean of the Faculty of Philology of KarSU named after Buketov, Doctor of Philology, Professor (Karaganda) Abduov Mukamedkali Ilyasovich, who noted that the in-depth study of invaluable quality works of the scientist is one of the great tasks ahead.
Putting the Kazakh language teaching on a new path is the main requirement of today. Speakers at the seminar:

Participants of the conference suggested opening a course “Akhmettanu”, emphasizing that it is the responsibility of scientists to reveal in more detail the essence of the noble legacy of the teacher of the nation, to analyze and explain to future generations the works of the sea.
We hope that the issues raised and discussed during the online seminar will contribute to raising the state status of our native language – Kazakh language.
