On October 24, a meeting of the student scientific circle “Adilet” was held, dedicated to the problems of combating corruption in the higher education system.
The meeting of the circle was held by the Candidate of Law, Professor Kabzhanov A.T.
The students of the groups U-21-1, U-22-1, U-23-1 took part in the meeting of the circle.
At the meeting of the circle, the main provisions of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Combating Corruption”, the Concept of Anti-corruption Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022-2026, as well as criminal and legal aspects of corruption crimes were considered.
The meeting participants discussed the goals, objectives, principles and measures to combat corruption, considered the causes and forms of corruption in higher education institutions, mechanisms of public participation in combating corruption, the role of education in preventing corruption and forming an anti-corruption culture.
The meeting was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere.
The meeting participants noted that in order to effectively combat corruption in the higher education system, an integrated approach is needed, providing for a combination of many factors and elements, including the active participation of students in combating corruption.
