On December 10 students of BOLASHAQ Academy visited Karlag museum. This event was held within the framework of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The building which witnessed the tragic years and innocently desecrated fates of the Kazakh people became a museum today. Students got acquainted with the history of life of the prisoners in the “Karlag” camp and learned why they became “enemies of the people”. They became acquainted with museum exhibits telling about the conditions in which prisoners lived in the camp. The students are grateful to the leadership of the academy for such an event.
