On November 19, 2024, as part of the educational work, a curatorial hour was held on the topic “Society against corruption” in the form of a conversation. This curatorial hour was attended by students of the In-22-1.2 groups under the guidance of senior advisor M.K. Abdresheva.
Corruption destroys the foundations of the state, undermining public confidence in the government. It leads to inefficiency of management, redistributing resources in favor of a narrow circle of people instead of the public good. The economy is suffering as investors avoid countries with high levels of corruption, and citizens are forced to face poor quality of services and injustice. In the social sphere, corruption increases inequality, as access to resources becomes the privilege of those who can pay.
Danil Sorokin and Shaimurat Ayaulym expressed their position by answering the question: How can corruption be prevented?
In conclusion, the students thanked the adviser for an active and relevant conversation.
