From November 25 to 29, 2024, within the framework of the republican project “Improving Financial literacy”, training courses were held, which were attended by teachers and students of the Bolashaq Academy.
The project was initiated by the ruling political party “Amanat” together with the NGO “Uly Dala”, and the lectures were conducted by the financial expert of this organization, Meirmanov Askhat Aliaskarovich.
The purpose of the course:
Creation of a financial education system in Kazakhstan with an emphasis on youth, which will become the basis of the country’s economic development. The program provides participants with the practical knowledge necessary to make informed financial decisions in everyday life.
Project objectives:
The training program was aimed at developing financial literacy among the citizens of Kazakhstan. The main topics of the course included:
personal and family budget management,
the basics of investing,
banking products,
the functioning of the tax system,
methods of protection against financial fraud.
A special feature of the course was, One of the key elements of the program was the training course “Karyzsyz kogam” (“Debt-free Society”). This initiative of the Amanat party was created to create a culture of competent financial management and reduce the level of debt of the population.
Results:
At the end of the training week, all participants received personal certificates confirming their successful completion of the course.
This initiative was an important step towards the formation of a financially literate society and laid the foundation for further development of knowledge in the field of economics among students and teachers of the Bolashaq Academy.
