Registration Office

The Registrar’s Office is a structural subdivision of the Educational and Methodological Department of the Academy and is subordinate directly to the Department of Education and Science.

The Registrar’s Office is a service that registers the entire history of academic achievements of a student and provides the organization of all types of knowledge control and calculation of his/her academic rating.

The general management of the registration department is carried out by the head appointed and dismissed by the order of the Rector.

The main tasks of the registration department are:

1 Management of the registration process for academic disciplines.

2 Formation of academic groups and streams on the basis of students’ choice

by the students of the trajectory of study.

3 Organization of all types of knowledge control of students in cycles of

disciplines or by separate disciplines at the boundary stages of the educational

of the educational process.

4 Calculation of academic rating of the learner.

5 Formation and storage of academic records.

6 Preparation of statistical reports on the contingent of students and their

academic performance.

7 Providing appropriate information for calculating the workload

of the teaching staff.

8 Development of requirements for forms of accounting documentation, the rules of their

storage and issuance: records, application for inclusion of the discipline in the catalog

elective disciplines, etc.

9 Drawing up informational reports on the results of activities.

Bekbasheva Beibitgul Bekseitovna

Position: head of the registration department

MA in Pedagogical Sciences

Education: Higher: Kazakh-Russian University, specialty “Pedagogy and psychology”, educational psychologist practical psychologist.

Achievements: Winner of intramural competitions “Mastery of Management” in 2017. Awarded the Certificate of Merit of the Akim of Karaganda city in 2014 and the letter of thanks of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2018.

Professional activities in the Academy: At the Academy “Bolashaq” has worked since September 2011, first as an organizer of the educational process, since November 2011 as head of the registration department, since September 2013 as a QMS specialist, since September 2014 as head of postgraduate department, since September 2015 as deputy head of UMU, since September 2017 and to this day is the head of the registration department.

Registrar’s Office is a student support office which registers the entire history of academic achievements of students, from registration for elective courses to the processing and storage of records. It provides organization of all types of control of the student’s knowledge and calculation of his/her academic rating.

The main tasks of the registration department are:

1. managing the registration process for academic disciplines;

2. formation of academic groups and streams on the basis of students’ choice of educational trajectory;

3. organization and record of academic progress based on the results of interim and final attestation;

4. calculation of academic rating of students;

5. making and keeping records of academic progress;

6. control of filling in by professors the rating, examination and final reports;

7. registering and keeping track of the students’ contingent;

8. control over disruption of classes and students’ attendance;

9. work with the editors assigned to each EP;

10. accounting and analysis of auditorium fund of the Academy;

11. checking students’ applications for transfer from other universities, restoration, expulsion, granting and withdrawal from academic leave, change of surname, etc.

    The main functions of the registration department:
  12. conducting registration of students in accordance with the academic calendar, re-registration and registration for the summer semester;
  13. organization of summer term for additional training; elimination of academic debts and differences in training programs;
  14. organization and carrying out of intermediate attestation of students, drawing up an academic rating of students according to its results
  15. storage of records of academic progress of students, management of information on the accumulated grades and credits for the entire period of study;
  16. drawing up individual study plans on the basis of the application and academic certificate of the students to determine the terms of passing the academic debts and differences in study plans;
  17. execution and issuance of transcript to the students and diploma supplement (transcript) to the graduates of full-time, part-time, full-time with the use of DOT;
  18. calculation of the grade point average (GPA) for the academic year;
  19. development of the academic calendar, terms of registration for academic disciplines for all forms of training;
  20. inclusion of grades in the Diploma Supplement for all forms of education;
  21. accompaniment of academic mobility of students and issuance of transcripts to students from other universities who arrived on academic mobility;
  22. drawing up the academic timetable of full-time, part-time, full-time with the use of DOT;
  23. drawing up a schedule of examinations in all forms of education;
  24. drawing-up the schedule of summer semester.
